Charlotte White - Prayer Ministry

Charlotte White, the head of our prayer ministry, has been a member of Covenant of Grace church and an active member of the prayer teams since 1996. She is married to Tom White and has three children. She has lived in the Sunnyslope community since 1993. 

Roy Benfield - Children's Ministry /  Early Childhood Ministry

Roy Benfield was born in PA, in a very small town and moved to the Glendale area when He was 12. He got involved in being a teacher for the children’s ministry while his daughter was 2 years old. Guess you could say he got hooked, because about 25 years later he is still involved in the children’s ministry. Not only has he worked with children at church but also coached soccer for 15 years. (His daughter got him involved in that one too). Having literally worked with thousands of kids over the years, one thing that is on his heart and is his goal, is to show young ones Gods love and power through God word. The Lord knows how much love children need, especially in our world that we live in today. Living a true walk with the Lord is Roy’s number one goal. He also enjoys sports and classic cars.

Ivan and Rebecca Nair - Youth Ministry

Ivan grew up in Singapore and was born into a Christian family and has been actively involved in church ministry his whole life. He loves all kinds of music and plays the drums and percussions.

Rebecca has attended Covenant of Grace since she was born and has always been involved in various ministries. She is the youngest of 6 and is the proud aunt of 16 nieces and nephews. She enjoys spending her free time with her family.

Both Ivan and Rebecca have served in youth ministry since their teenage years. They met in Singapore when Rebecca was there serving on a missions trip. United by their love for God and coffee, Ivan moved to Phoenix to be with Becca. In 2009 they got married and now serve side-by-side in various ministries but primarily as youth leaders to the Awake Youth Ministry.
